Hello again!

I’d say that things have been quiet around here lately, but that would be an insult to the word “quiet.” Writing semi-articulate posts is a difficult feat while I fight off the food induced coma of a good brunch. That said, I have another confession to make: I’ve been cheating on Brunchable.

Even though this place has more cobwebs than a G-train subway stop, I’ve been getting brunch every weekend. Really good ones too. I went back to Spoon and had great conversation on the state of blogging with Mashable’s Adam Ostrow, and just today I went to The Food Experiment’s awesomely successful Brooklyn Brunch Experiment.

I brought my big DSLR a couple times, transferred a couple of those to the computer, but nothing made it up to the site. Meanwhile, I was documenting the whole thing via my personal twitter account. Location, photos, notes on food quality.

Lightbulb moment.

If you clicked any of those links up there, odds are they went to a twitter related item.

While rebuilding Brunchable has been on my mind for a couple months, yesterday I spent a couple hours brainstorming on the proper format, and some design concepts. The one thing I know for certain is that this is going to use twitter as a platform.

If you follow us on twitter, you’ll be the first to know about the latest and greatest. Photos and reviews almost in real time. If you frequent the site, you’ll have access to past collections of tweets and media by location and occasionally long form pieces if the brunch was truly special.
